James J. Shaut
faro6@verizon.netIs a member of the American Society of Home Inspectors and received his architectual training from Utica College and the Catholic University of America. He has been a full time home inspector since 1984. He has varied experience in construction, including remodeling and restoration of homes on the National Historic Register. Jim has specialized training in environmental areas and is skilled in both single family and commercial inspections.
Charles J. Hayes
faro6@verizon.netIs a member of the American Society of Home Inspectors, and a graduate of Wheeling College and Georgtown University. He is a native of Washington D.C. and is fluent in Spanish. He has built over 150 single family homes in the Washington D.C. area. Charles has been a full time inspector since 1989.
Gary L. Mummert
gmum@mindspring.comIs a member of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI), and a graduate of Millersville State College, holding a Masters degree from Central Michigan University. He has many years experience as a construction superintendent for single family and multi-family renovations and new construction in the Washington D.C. area. He serves on the board of directors for a non-profit housing corporation. Gary has been a full time home inspector since 1992.
Arthur L. Pavis
longeno@comcast.netIs a member of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI). He has been a full time inspector since 1996. Arthur has over 10 years experience in residential framing, electrical, and plumbing. He has attended numerous ASHI approved courses on the theory and practice of home inspections.
Camilo Galeano
galeano.camilo@gmail.comIs a bi-lingual inspector (Spanish/English). He has participated in over 900 full inspections and has completed technical training with Faro Systems and HITA training academy. He is a Certified member of the American Society of Home Inspectors. He also conducts residential home energy audits for Faro Systems. Prior to his home inspection work, Camilo was a Building Engineer with a college background in computer science. Camilo lives in Northern Virginia.
Ruben Diaz
faro6@verizon.netIs a Bi-lingual inspector (Spanish/English) and has successfully completed training at the Inspection Training Associates School for Home Inspectors. In addition, Ruben has had one year of field training at Faro Systems, Inc. He has assisted on approximately 200 inspections.
